LanBu Privacy Policy

Thank you for using Lanbu.

We aim to collect as little data about you as possible but in order to be able to support the app and keep it bug free, there is certain information we need to collect.

Please see each section below for information on what we collect and how it is used:

Usage Logs

These are small bits of data sent back to our server in order to flag errors, provide us with diagnostics data and make sure everything is working.

They are only to used for development purposes are periodically deleted.

Some examples of such data includes:

• The app version
• The printer model
• The error(s) encountered
• Detailed information on what caused the error
• Any commands from the slicer that the app doesn't recognise

Any personal information that does somehow make its way into the logs (such as serial numbers or IP addresses) will be kept confidential and will never be shared with anyone outside of the development team.

Thirdparty Analytics Data

We use Google's Firebase Analytics in order to get an overview of:

• The number of people using the app
• The countries the app is used from
• How much time users spend in the app
• The most frequently used features and buttons

This information is used to prioritise and improve features and support.

Thirdparty Data Collection By Ad Services

We use Google's AdMob platform to serve ads in the app, please their privacy policy for details on the information collected.

On our ad-free plans, the app is initialised without AdMob enabled which means no data should be collected by them at all.
